The Bournemouth Food and Drink Festival is almost upon us and thus Bournemouth is gearing up for an abundance of visitors from all over the country. The festival kicks off on June 21st and runs right through to June 30th. With featured events across the city, and cuisines from around the world, there is something to whet everybody’s appetite.
Here’s a little taster of what’s in store:
With three giant food markets offering their own unique flair, you’ll be treated to some fabulously fresh produce, eclectic foods from around the world and local cuisine too. Each market is located in a different part of the city, with a Farmers and Producers Market in Bournemouth Square that’ll run during the final weekend of the festival, an eclectic Street Food Market which will be open daily throughout the entire weeklong food & drink extravaganza, and let’s not forget the World Food Market, a tantalising celebration of many international cuisines, this market runs for three days during the festival.
Demo Kitchen – Cooking Demonstrations
The Demonstration Kitchen, found in Bournemouth Square, will play host to several talented guest chefs who will be sharing their expertise throughout the festival. Locally renowned chefs such as James Campbell of the Long Crichel Bakery, Matthew Budden of Highcliff Grill, and Che Leonard of D’CoalPot will all be making an appearance, among many others.A h
