It can be tough here at Langtry Manor. For instance, when the chef asks you if you would taste test his new double chocolate cheesecake with caramelised hazelnuts, chocolate straws and edible gold glitter on top. Being as dedicated as we are to our jobs here at Langtry Manor, we decided to step up to the mark, take one for the team and become guinea pigs for the day. (As if we needed much convincing!)
Below is exhibit A: The newest addition to the Langtry’s dessert menu, adorned with a dainty little L for Lillie Langtry in honour of our 35th Anniversary.
Now, for anyone who looks at this photograph and thinks of their waistline, quick – think of the best antioxidants you’ve ever heard of. Red wine? Green tea? Pomegranate? Blueberries? Dark chocolate leaves them all in the dust.
So now that we’ve cleared that up. The verdict:
Deeply rich on top, giving way to soft smooth creaminess in the centre, punctuated with crumbly buttery biscuit – in short, a one way ticket to chocolate nirvana. And the good news? You can try it too, as this chocolatey masterpiece has made its way onto Langtry’s dessert menu. Hallelujah.
