We are still recovering from the action-packed Murder Mystery weekend which came to an explosive close yesterday. Fifty guests plus a group of actors arrived on Friday evening for Fine Dining by candlelight. Everybody was dressed up to the nines, and the characters had the chance to get to know one another. Over an authentic Titanic menu of foie gras and quails eggs, the scene was set. The group were survivors of the recent Titanic disaster, reuniting in New York, 1920.
When guests retired to their beds that night, their heads were spinning with facts, clues and suspicion. The following evening, came the Titanic Survivors Appeal Dinner. Guests arrived in outfits even more decadent than the previous night. Whilst taking their first sip of champagne, they learned of the murder, which had taken place earlier that day. The victim had met his unfortunate end in his bedroom, which was open for all to see. Although it had been cleaned up, there were clues left which held the key to the mystery.
The six course Edwardian Banquet was extremely well received. Once again, the chefs had produced culinary delights dating back to the Titanic’s maiden voyage. The Waldorf pudding was to die for (pardon the pun!) Tongues were wagging as the gossip and rumours surrounding the scandal were discussed. After a restful night to sleep on their decisions, guests gathered for a hearty breakfast and the grand revelation. The Murderers were named and shamed. It turned out the Captain had killed someone aboard the ship itself. It was his lover who had killed the victim in question, to protect the Captain’s dark secret! Everybody watched as she was carted off by the police. We love a good mystery!
Spaces are filling up fast for our next event March 15th-17th 2013. Call us on (01202) 290550 if you would like more information, or to make a booking. It’s bound to be a scream.

HI I’m sure that last time on this website I saw more photos of the last Murder Mystery weekend?? Was I imagining that! Where are the photos now? Thanks
Hi Suzi
Thank you for your comment, I do believe that we tend to post more photos of the Murder Mystery weekends on our Facebook page rather than the blog. Hope that helps. Tess
A majority of persons don’t have Facebook. I am one of them. I thought a blog was meant to facilitate such things as photos of parties rather than Facebook?
