We are proud to announce the latest happy couple Constance and Wolfgang Fischer. They surrendered to the English summer monsoon weather and tied the knot in the main dining hall with the glorious stained glass window as their back drop. Constance, fondly known as Connie to her friends and family, walked down the aisle in a fairy tale princess gown in ivory after arriving at the Manor in an impressive vintage Rolls Royce, driven by the lovely Paul of Prestige Wedding Cars. Her veil was delicate, framing her smiling face as she made her way towards her dashing man, to the sweet sound of Claudia Sommer, who sang a searing ballad which melted everybody’s hearts. The bride’s beautiful bouquet and all the gorgeous flowers were provided by Carla Lepperdinger. Their special moments were captured forever by Cerrie Simpson of Neolimn Photography. Bespoke stationary by Emma Farwell.
After the magic words had been spoken, even more magic ensued, as Chris Piercy dazzled guests with novel and innovative tricks and games. The crowd milled around happily sipping on fruity Pimms whilst A Bossa Imensa provided yet more charming music. After the ceremony and drinks reception, guests sat down to a fabulous three course dinner.
In the evening, guests made their way over to Langtry Lodge to continue the celebrations with a summer barbecue, and even more entertainment provided by a caricaturist Paul Tyler. For an individual twist, the couple opted for a traditional baked cheesecake topped with luscious fresh strawberries as their wedding cake, created by Lisa of Cake Cucina. Once the cake had been polished off it was time to dance the night away with Karl or Party Dexx providing the tunes. The night was brought to an explosive end with none other than our local fire performer from We Perform, who provided a fitting finale to an exciting day.
We wish them all our love and best wishes.
